Thank you for checking out our page dedicated to eliminating the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). We are committed to doing our part! We are offering free HIV testing through our local community partners.
Our program works by helping our local communities and health organizations build testing capacity and access while promoting higher testing frequency through offering our HIV tests for free to any local resident. By adding our program, many communities can effectively double and even triple local testing capacities. Our Free Testing Program is currently available in many areas across the country.
We are offering free HIV Testing.
Your results will be available in 1 to 2 days. For all positive tests, we will automatically run a confirmatory test. For all positive cases we will provide a free consultation from our clinical team to ensure that you understand the results, answer any questions and refer you to a local infection disease specialist, your primary care physician, your local health department or prescribe medication when possible.
He is our Director of Community Outreach. Daniel comes to us from a long history of advocating for better health access and education in his formal capacity at the state level. He brings a great deal of pride and passion to this role in helping more people access free HIV testing that is quick and convenient. We believe that by helping more people get tested we can reduce late stage diagnoses and further transmission across the country. Daniel is prioritizing communication with state, city, and county local health departments, to help boost local testing capacity and get these free HIV tests into the hands of those that need them the most. Our testing process is quick, convenient and discreet making our service a great additional resource to help build testing capacity and frequency for local residents. We believe that by giving our communities added convenient options for testing more people will get tested more often. Early detection will be a key factor in ending the HIV epidemic and helping our communities live healthier lives. HIV, the Human Immunodeficiency Virus, is one of the most serious infectious diseases of our time. It attacks and weakens the body’s immune system, making it difficult for people with HIV to fight off infections and diseases. In the USA alone, it is estimated that 1.1 million people are living with HIV, yet nearly 14% (1 in 7) remain unaware they are infected and at risk of passing on the virus without even knowing it.
The main reason to get tested for HIV is that early diagnosis leads to better treatment outcomes and longer life expectancy. With current treatments involving antiretroviral drugs that reduce the levels of virus in the body and help strengthen the weakened immune system, long-term survivorship rates are higher than ever before. Getting treatment started early can also help stop further transmission to others. Therefore, early diagnosis is a pivotal factor to ending this epidemic and helping people live fuller healthier lives.
In addition to getting tested regularly, those at high risks – such as individuals engaging in unprotected sex or sharing needles – should take extra precautions such as using condoms every time they have sex or avoiding intravenous drug use altogether, which can significantly reduce their chances of becoming infected or passing on the virus if already infected. It’s clear from both medical research and personal testimony that getting tested for HIV & AIDS should no longer simply be seen as an option but rather a necessity – especially since early detection through a simple blood test can enable much more effective treatment leading toward improved quality of life & prognosis over time!
